WHY SHOULD YOU TRAVEL TO AUSTRALIA WITH US?

From a chef’s-table tour of the picturesque Yarra Valley

Australia is as varied as it is enormous– it is home to thriving cities, vast wilderness, and earnest, friendly people. Sydney is for sophisticates, with its famous opera house and annual Sculpture by the Sea outdoor art exhibits. Port Douglas makes a great base for snorkeling or diving the Great Barrier Reef, and quaint lighthouses keep vigil along the beaches of Byron Bay. Melbourne is a hub of rousing cricket activity, and the limestone pillars of the Pinnacles Desert are a natural wonder.

Example Itineraries

These are simply suggestions for the kind of holiday you might have. Yours will be tailored, altered, and refined until it matches you completely.

AUSTRALIA’S ICONS

Your first stop is one of Australia’s most iconic destinations; Sydney. Your first day here you will take at leisure, wandering wide-eyed around this beautiful city and taking time to recover from your long journey. When you are feeling refreshed and invigorated after a nights rest in the luxurious Park Hyatt (in a stunning Opera View room, might we add) it’s time for you to enjoy a guided tour of the Opera House, learning about the inspiration behind the innovative architecture. Next, we will arrange a three-course pre-theatre dinner and tickets to one of the world-class shows in the evening. The perfect beginning to your time down under.

NATURAL WONDER

After a few days in this sprawling metropolis, we are flying you to Uluru, where you will be checked into a luxury tent at Longitude 131. Slap, bang in the middle of the country, as far away from anything as you can be, this is the perfect spot for some serious peace and quiet. The moment you step onto the red sand, you will be rendered speechless at the intensity of its color, even more so when you lay eyes upon the rock formation itself. Gaze in wonderment upon the incredible moods of Uluru as it changes throughout the day from a golden hue to bronze and finally a glowing red as the sun sets. We will have you dining under the stars beside this giant cultural icon as a storyteller informs you of the stars and the associated tales and fables that Aboriginal Australians have passed down for thousands of years. The clarity of the sky somewhere as remote as this area of the outback will have the stars and constellations twinkling with a piercing radiance. Trust us, you will not have seen a night sky like this anywhere before.

FLYING OVER THE GREAT BARRIER REEF TO AN EXCLUSIVE GETAWAY IN THE WHITSUNDAYS

From Ayers Rock, it’s onto the irresistible waters of Hamilton Island and the blissed-out luxury of Qualia. The unique positioning of this boutique hideaway, with its views over the stunning Whitsundays, will seduce even the most experienced luxury traveller. From Hamilton Island, we’ll have you depart on a scenic flight to Whitehaven Beach where you will enjoy a private picnic and spend hours ogling at the sheer beauty of this stretch of sand along Whitsunday Island. Nothing will compare to soaring over the wonder of the Great Barrier Reef on your way back though. Allow your feet to come back down to earth back at Qualia, spending your last island moments floating in your private infinity pool, sailing catamarans and snorkelling in the crystal clear waters of the Coral Sea, before waving your goodbyes to the reef and heading back down to New South Wales for one last bout of relaxation before flying home.

WIND DOWN AT WOLGAN

Two days amid the natural wilderness of Wolgan Valley is all you need to get you feeling ready and rested to return to the real world. Nestled deep within verdant landscapes, just a stone’s through from the iconic Blue Mountains, relax into these two days as you take a deep breath and make the most of your surroundings. Whether you explore on foot, horseback or bicycle, return each evening to a spa that will pamper you like never before and a restaurant which will tantalise your taste buds. With a private lodge to call your own, we wouldn’t be surprised if this inspires you to forget the daily grind altogether and stay here forever. But, sadly, all good things must come to an end. Wave farewell to the Wallabies that bound on by as you board a helicopter back to Sydney for your flight back home.

TOP LOCATIONS IN AUSTRALIA

If we were asked to choose our top three places, we’d go for these.

Sydney & The Blue Mountains

Explore Australia’s iconic capital and the incredible range to its West.

Sparkling, sophisticated and confident, Sydney – backed by the range of the awe-inspiring Blue Mountains – embodies everything that is glamorous and modern about Australia. With a coastal path that stretches from Bondi to Coogee, the bustling harbour, the iconic Opera House, and trendy Newtown. With the eucalyptus forests, waterfalls and peaks of the National Park behind you, Sydney has much to offer.

The Great Barrier Reef

It’s more than just a reef. It’s 1,900 reefs.

It is easy to throw out a cliche about the reef, that it is “out of this world.” But that wouldn’t be true. Here, from Lady Elliot Island and to the edge of New Guinea (some 2,300km away), the reef is an incredible and intricate labyrinth of cays, ribbons, islets, canyons and – of course – nature. You can sleep on private islands within diving distance of it (such as Kangaroo Island), or else take an expert-led tour of it by day. The nearby islands of the Whitsundays & Cairns offer an exotic stepping stone into this earthly paradise.

Melbourne (And Beyond)

Art, culture and cuisine on Australia’s southeastern coast

A theme emerges. That each great Australian city is paired with an incredible hinterland. For Melbourne, in Australia’s southeast, it’s the Mornington Peninsula and the Yarra Valley wine region. Trendy, easygoing, fun, Melbourne is all about plazas, bars, art and restaurants. In the Yarra Valley, we will pair you with expert sommeliers and local chefs to truly taste and sample the land that feeds this city.

    Good to Know

    YOUR BURNING QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

It’s only natural to have some burning questions before you book your once in a lifetime trip. We’ve answered the most commonly asked ones below. This way, you can understand more about who we are, what we do and what we stand for. Read on for our answers.
WILL I BE JOINING A GROUP?
All of our trips are private, so you won’t be joining a group (unless of course you’re travelling with one of your own). There’s no maximum group size (within reason), so if you want to go with five friends or 40 family members, we can sort it. We’ve also built strong relationships with a number of top hotels around the world, so if you want a luxury hotel solely for your group, we can arrange a buy-out.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PLAN A TRIP?

In most cases, you’ll have your initial itinerary within a few days. First we’ll (1) set up a call to get to know you and your family, friends or partner. Next we’ll (2) ask about your interests and how you like to travel, as well as discussing ideas for your chosen destination. From here (3) we’ll curate a tailor-made itinerary and send it over within a few days. You can then fine-tune your trip as much as you like and speak to the other people in your party before confirming.

If your needs are more complex then this process can take a little longer. At the same time if you’re eager to travel ASAP then we can get you from enquiry to flight within a matter of hours.
