Example Itineraries

These are simply suggestions for the kind of holiday you might have. Yours will be tailored, altered, and refined until it matches you completely.

STEP BACK IN TIME IN SPLIT

A hotbed of history and culture, your Adriatic adventure begins in the charming town of Split. A town with a past that spans over one and a half millennia and made up of influences drawn from countless invaders, head out to the countryside to get a glimpse of local traditions handed down through the generations. In Sinj, you’ll step back to medieval times as you encounter the knightly tournament of Sinjska Alka; a celebration of victory over the Ottomans, it’s an experience unique to the region and cherished fiercely by locals. Get behind the scenes with a visit to the stables before saddling up for a private horseriding lesson in the prestigious hippodrome.

DELVE INTO DUBROVNIK

Your final stop in Croatia is its most iconic city; Dubrovnik. But before you rush there, stop off for a scenic tour of Peljesac Penisula, one of Croatia’s most famous wine growing regions. Here, you can visit the small family run winery of Frano Milos to sample some of the country’s finest organic wines, still made according to traditional methods. To complement the wine, you’ll then stop off at the famous bay of Ston for a private oyster farm tour with a local farmer. Sailing out to his own private island, you’ll set up camp for a few hours as he prepares the traditional dish of mussels alla buzzara. Deliciously simple and served in a spot you simply cannot beat, it certainly makes for a meal to remember.

ISLAND HOP TO KORCULA

Leaving Split behind, you’ll then spend the day privately sailing between Croatia’s beautiful islands, strewn like emeralds across the Adriatic. Your first port of call is the Pakleni Islands where you can drift across the shimmering waters stopping off for a swim and a sunbathe at whichever cove takes your fancy. You’ll then drop anchor in Hvar for a wander along its cobbled streets and a bite to eat amid its laidback island attitude. You’ll then finally pull into the harbour at Korcula, where you’ll spend the next few days staying in the lap of luxury at Lesic Dimitri Palace.

In the morning, head out on a private tour of the island taking in the old world charm of the birthplace of Marco Polo and the alleged origin of the Silk Road. Make your way along the ramparts to the San Marko Cathedral and Museum of Icons before heading out to Zrnovo, one of the oldest settlements on the island, to meet the charming Marovic family in a visit to their unique eco-farm. After you’ve had your fill of homemade jam, olive oil and grappa, continue on through the villages, vineyards and olive groves to Lumbarda.

A MONTENEGRIN OASIS

After a few nights in Dubrovnik, you’ll then be whisked off to your final stop across the border in Montenegro. Pull up amid the beauty of Boka Bay, where mountains fall away to the sea and check in at the sophisticated One&Only Portonovi. Sitting elegantly on Adriatic shores, it makes for a flawless finish to your time away. Time here is ripe for exploration, so tomorrow we’ll take you on a boat ride out to the islet of Our Lady of the Rock, where you’ll soon see a whole other side to Adriatic life. Sit back in the gently rocking boat as your private guide regales you with local legends before returning to land to explore the UNESCO wonder of the Bay of Kotor.

The rest of your time is yours to spend as your please, perhaps in the innovative Chenot Espace Spa or lounged by one of the resort’s six pools. With world class dining courtesy of Giorgio Locatelli, you’ll never want to leave.

TOP LOCATIONS IN CROATIA

If we were asked to choose our top three places, we’d go for these.

Dubrovnik

Glitz and glam in the walled, UNESCO-inscribed city.
Arguably the most breathtaking city of the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik is the heart and soul of Croatia. Scattered with red-tiled roofs, cobbled passageways, and luxurious villas, it’s easy to lose yourself in the magical atmosphere here. Wander the city at your own pace before embarking on Dubrovnik’s iconic 2km walk of the city walls at sunset. If you’re a budding Game of Thrones fan like us, we’ll hook you up with some savvy guides who helped scout for the on-set locations to show you the iconic sights that made TV like Srd Hiil, Pile Gate, and Blackwater Bay.

Korcula

Learn how to shuck oysters like a local.
We like to think of Korčula as Dubrovnik’s little twin sister, and with over 2,000 years of history on the island, there’s no time to waste stepping foot upon the sandy shores here. We’ll begin with a private walking tour of Marco Polo’s birthplace and the alleged origin of the Silk Road, before falling back into luxury at Lešic Dimitri Palace. Spend your days in the company of a private skipper as you cruise around secluded bays, visit local wineries and perfect the art of oyster shucking at Ston Oyster Farm.

Hvar

Pine forests, charming walkways and trendy beach bars.
Famed for its natural beauty, rich history, and aromatic lavender fields, Hvar is a firm Croatian favourite of ours. First, we’ll lead you on a walking tour of Stari Grad (Old Town) on the northern side of the island – one of the oldest towns in Europe – to discover incredible gothic palaces, charming churches and chapels and of course the best restaurants on the island. Then for a breath of fresh air, we’ll take you to the hilltop villages of Humac and Vrisnik, where the scent of rosemary and lavender will leave you pining for days.
    Good to Know

    YOUR BURNING QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

It’s only natural to have some burning questions before you book your once in a lifetime trip. We’ve answered the most commonly asked ones below. This way, you can understand more about who we are, what we do and what we stand for. Read on for our answers.
WILL I BE JOINING A GROUP?
All of our trips are private, so you won’t be joining a group (unless of course you’re travelling with one of your own). There’s no maximum group size (within reason), so if you want to go with five friends or 40 family members, we can sort it. We’ve also built strong relationships with a number of top hotels around the world, so if you want a luxury hotel solely for your group, we can arrange a buy-out.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PLAN A TRIP?

In most cases, you’ll have your initial itinerary within a few days. First we’ll (1) set up a call to get to know you and your family, friends or partner. Next we’ll (2) ask about your interests and how you like to travel, as well as discussing ideas for your chosen destination. From here (3) we’ll curate a tailor-made itinerary and send it over within a few days. You can then fine-tune your trip as much as you like and speak to the other people in your party before confirming.

If your needs are more complex then this process can take a little longer. At the same time if you’re eager to travel ASAP then we can get you from enquiry to flight within a matter of hours.
