WHY TRAVEL TO SPAIN WITH US?

From flamenco and Dalí to rioja and wellness, we’ll craft your Spanish trip around what it is you want to do. After all, perfect itineraries are like the best pintxos – made fresh to order.
Ancient and modern; bull-fighting and flamenco. Spain is a country of deep and often surprising contrasts. One day you’re silently touring the prehistoric cave-art of El Castillo. The next you’re holding forth in the Michelin-starred restaurants of Catalonia. But our hosts will help make sense of its layers. From Antonio, a breeder of legendary Andalusian horses, to Yarra, a grower of ancient Rioja wines. These people – real Spaniards with living passions – will be your companions, drawing you deep into their historic homeland. You’d be lost without them. Don Quixote charging a windmill.

Example Itineraries

These are simply suggestions for the kind of holiday you might have. Yours will be tailored, altered, and refined until it matches you completely.

MAJESTIC MALLORCA

Your first three nights will be spent at the magnificent Hotel Cap Rocat, a former military fortress located in a secluded bay of Palma de Mallorca. Arrive in style with a private transfer in from Palma de Mallorca airport. The next few days are about relaxing, rejuvenating and reviving. Days here will be spent at leisure, admiring the unique architecture, soaking up the Spanish sunshine and swimming in the crystal clear the Mediterranean Sea. After a day of sunbathing or pampering, dine at award-winning restaurant The Sea Club, where you can wind down under the warm Spanish sun and enjoy delicious dishes cooked in a traditional Mallorcan firewood oven and grill.

We’ll arrange for you to take diving trips, visit the quaint street markets of Palma or head into the hills of Tramuntana for a cycling excursion. As the sun goes down you can retire to the former fortress halls at Cap Rocat. These areas have been transformed into pleasant lounges that are perfect for one last aperitif whilst the sun sets.

BALEARIC BLISS IN IBIZA

On arrival at Ibiza airport, your driver will whisk you away to the wonderful 7 Pines, your luxurious new home for the next three nights. This glamorous hideaway is the perfect place to enjoy Ibiza’s shoreline and explore the surrounding area.
The next day, we will arrange a private yacht excursion to Formentera. Beautiful white sandy beaches and clear waters will leave you refreshed and sun-kissed before heading for a gourmet lunch reservation at the renowned Juan y Andrea, a smart and fashionable restaurant on the most famous beach of Formentera. Indulge in fresh seafood and other grilled delicacies on the terrace or directly on the sand under the shade of the awnings. The yacht will stop at a number of deserted beaches where you can dive straight into the pristine water to cool off, or simply relax on the deck and take in the perfect views that surround you before heading back to the marina just in time for a glass of champagne under the sunset.

HIP HAPPENINGS IN BARCELONA

On leaving Ibiza, we will fly you to Barcelona and the amazing Mandarin Oriental for four nights. Overlooking the prestigious Passeig de Gracia, take in some beautiful sunset views of the Catalan capital from the hotel’s spacious rooftop terrace. The next day, you can stroll the cobbled streets of Barcelona and explore the city’s highlights, including Las Ramblas and La Sagrada Familia with your local guide. Conclude your day at Gaudi’s newly UNESCO-listed La Pedrera and enjoy a glass of champagne whilst learning about the artist himself. Head back to the hotel where you can indulge in exquisite Catalan gastronomy at La Mesa by Angel Leon; an intimate dining experience at the Michelin starred chef’s table.

TOP LOCATIONS IN SPAIN

If we were asked to choose our top three places, we’d go for these.

San Sebastian

A busy cultural calendar, lush countryside, and incomparable dining make Sab Sebastián a sleeper hit in the Basque region.
With the Bay of Biscay pawing gently at its side, you come here to practice the art of indulgence. From local txakoli (a lightly sparkling wine) to the storm of small pintxos plates that leave many (happily) reeling. Here, our guides will introduce you to its best wineries; its secret dining clubs; and an inspiring tour of arty Bilbao (just a skip along the coast).

Barcelona

Experience the dazzling home of modernist architect Antoni Gaudi, whose Sagrada Familia dominates this Catalan city’s skyline.
Barcelona is a feast. Literally. Figuratively. The inspiring Picasso Museum in the labyrinthine Gothic Quarter; a private guide through panoramic Park Guell; and a tasteful tour of the city’s emblematic markets – from La Boqueria to Santa Caterina. We saw Anna Wintour there once, the air thick with the smell of bubbling Catalan xocolata. We love it.

Mallorca

English poet Robert Graves fell in love with this glamorous yet rugged place. Why? Because “perfect tranquillity reigns.”
19th-century gun fortresses shaded by the fat lozenges of local palms. Restaurants buzzing with the pop of opened corks. Or the limestone hills and olive bluffs of Serra de Tramunta, thick with pine and rosemary. We’ll show you each of its personalities, enlisting our favourite tables, bars and spas along the way.
    Good to Know

    YOUR BURNING QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

It’s only natural to have some burning questions before you book your once in a lifetime trip. We’ve answered the most commonly asked ones below. This way, you can understand more about who we are, what we do and what we stand for. Read on for our answers.
WILL I BE JOINING A GROUP?
All of our trips are private, so you won’t be joining a group (unless of course you’re travelling with one of your own). There’s no maximum group size (within reason), so if you want to go with five friends or 40 family members, we can sort it. We’ve also built strong relationships with a number of top hotels around the world, so if you want a luxury hotel solely for your group, we can arrange a buy-out.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PLAN A TRIP?

In most cases, you’ll have your initial itinerary within a few days. First we’ll (1) set up a call to get to know you and your family, friends or partner. Next we’ll (2) ask about your interests and how you like to travel, as well as discussing ideas for your chosen destination. From here (3) we’ll curate a tailor-made itinerary and send it over within a few days. You can then fine-tune your trip as much as you like and speak to the other people in your party before confirming.

If your needs are more complex then this process can take a little longer. At the same time if you’re eager to travel ASAP then we can get you from enquiry to flight within a matter of hours.
