Example Itineraries

These are simply suggestions for the kind of holiday you might have. Yours will be tailored, altered, and refined until it matches you completely.

A LUXURY HOLIDAY IN THE ALPS, LAKES AND COAST

Starting way back in the Golden Age of Travel, a luxury holiday in Europe has, over the years, become synonymous with luxury. Whilst everywhere has it’s own take on that trademark timeless elegance, for us, few do it as well as Switzerland and Italy. Packed full of romance and jaw-dropping vistas, on this twelve-night getaway through Zermatt, St. Moritz, Lake Como and the Amalfi Coast you’ll go from helicoptering over the Matterhorn one minute to finding serendipity along the ethereal Path of the Gods the next. Home to chocolate-box villages, grand villas crawled in wisteria and precipitous roads and rails, luxury unfolds at every turn in this expertly-crafted getaway.

LUCERNE, INTERLAKEN & MONTREUX: A SWISS FAMILY ESCAPE

At the heart of Europe, Switzerland is ripe for adventure. Towering mountains, shimmering lakes and fairytale towns, it’s a step into your own storybook world. Where cog wheel trains take you up to mountain passes and fondues bubble away in alpine shepherd’s huts, this is a family getaway unlike any other. Our Europe Travel Experts have spent years taking in this classical centrepiece to unveil its most authentic – and most luxurious – side. The kids will love the rich folklore which will see them discovering ice palaces and traditional yodelling, whilst the parents will love the standout cuisine and the throwback to the belle epoque era. But everyone will love the exclusive chocolate tasting in the workshop of a master chocolatier. This summer, take to the mountains on this alpine getaway for all the family.

ZURICH: ANCIENT AND MODERN CULTURE

Often lauded as a thriving financial hub, but rarely exposed for its unique culture, it’s time to uncover the hidden side of Zurich. Tucked away between the beautifully preserved medieval streets, the city has a remarkably vibrant and creative community. History is abundant, culture is rife, and there’s an industrial edge sweeping the city, making it one of Europe’s hottest destinations. On this short five-day getaway, we’ll show you how to make the most of the city.

A LUXURY DRIVING ADVENTURE

Love driving? Love fast cars? This your chance to experience some of the best roads in the world, in some of the most exotic cars you can imagine, with incredible scenery to boot. Spend four nights in the most luxurious hotels the Swiss Alps have to offer while driving the unbeatable roads of Switzerland and Italy in the sports car of your dreams.
Driving fans among you will have heard of the Stelvio Pass, which has been named the best driving road in Europe. This route takes you there, and further into the Alps for (believe it or not) even better driving. Our experts have scoured these routes and designed the ultimate driving experiences exclusively for you. Explore the shadow of the beautiful Jungfrau and Eiger Massifs, St Moritz and the Engadine region of Switzerland, before a drive through the beautiful Swiss National Park and Parco dello Stelvio in Italy, up and over the world famous Stelvio Pass.

TOP LOCATIONS IN SWITZERLAND

If we were asked to choose our top three places, we’d go for these.

Interlaken

A fairy-tale town, and the adventure capital of Switzerland.
Built on a narrow stretch of valley, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, and surrounded by alpine meadows and mountains, Interlaken is a breath of fresh air. With lots of hiking trails and adrenaline-pumping activities like skydiving to get stuck into, Interlaken tempts those travellers seeking a thrill. We’ll take you to the iconic cogwheel train at Grindelwald to tackle some steep gradients and kilometre-long tunnels, as you make your way up to Europe’s highest railway station.

Sanct Moritz

Switzerland’s original winter wonderland.
Nestled in Switzerland’s Engadin Valley, the alpine town of St Moritz sits between a glistening lake and a ring of mountains, and is simply stunning. Arrive via the Glacier Express and get stuck into exploring the town, valley – and food scene – with the help of our local guide, Gabriel. For something to really remember, catch the funicular up to Muottas Muragl for sweeping panoramic views across the valley and enjoy an exclusive, gourmet chocolate tasting session.

Montreux

A lakeside town steeped in musical history.
Firstly, arrive onto the shores of Lake Geneva in style making the famous rail journey across the Golden Pass. Home to lakeside markets, elegant hotels like Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, and many music events including the famed jazz festival, Montreux is a buzzing place to be. Accompanied by an expert guide, discover the picture-perfect Chillon Castle and descend deep into its dungeons for a history lesson, before sailing across the water to Vevey for a candlelit dinner overlooking Lavaux.
    Good to Know

    YOUR BURNING QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

It’s only natural to have some burning questions before you book your once in a lifetime trip. We’ve answered the most commonly asked ones below. This way, you can understand more about who we are, what we do and what we stand for. Read on for our answers.
WILL I BE JOINING A GROUP?
All of our trips are private, so you won’t be joining a group (unless of course you’re travelling with one of your own). There’s no maximum group size (within reason), so if you want to go with five friends or 40 family members, we can sort it. We’ve also built strong relationships with a number of top hotels around the world, so if you want a luxury hotel solely for your group, we can arrange a buy-out.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PLAN A TRIP?

In most cases, you’ll have your initial itinerary within a few days. First we’ll (1) set up a call to get to know you and your family, friends or partner. Next we’ll (2) ask about your interests and how you like to travel, as well as discussing ideas for your chosen destination. From here (3) we’ll curate a tailor-made itinerary and send it over within a few days. You can then fine-tune your trip as much as you like and speak to the other people in your party before confirming.

If your needs are more complex then this process can take a little longer. At the same time if you’re eager to travel ASAP then we can get you from enquiry to flight within a matter of hours.
